Curated by the amazing Super Cooper! This is Munky King’s last show before they close up shop (sadface!) They’re going out with a bang! With over 100 artists invited, and it’s Super Coopers Birthday! (happy birthat buddy!)
My piece entitled “We Gotta Clock This!” draws from childhood memories of staying up late at night trying to clock Alex the Kidd with my cousin, on his sega master system 2 (with built in Alex the Kidd!) Recently finished up this custom for Dragons group show, held at Sho Gallery in Cardiff, Wales (opening night is the 18th of August, i’ll be in attendence! bring your sketchbooks!)

Entitled “Octavian REALLY loves pineapples”, Octavian stands at 4inches tall, with bits sculpted onto him with milliput (my first time sculpting (maaaddd props to all those insane sculptors out there.. my podgy hands were not built to sculpt that’s for sure!)




I’ve priced Octavian at £160 (which includes all his little pineapple friends), 50% of which will go towards Diabetes UK :) If you’re interested, head over to the Sho Gallery page here :)

Teaser #2 for the Dragons show, Cardiff August 18th!

Hey all! Here are a few Gallery show’s i’m participating in this month (February)

First up is a Year of the Dragon themed group show at Dragatomi in Sacramento, CA, which opens this coming Saturday the 11th. I’ve done 2 little 6inch x 6inch wood panel paintings for this show (preview list can be viewed here!)

This was the first time i’ve painted on wood, and i totally loved it :) Watch out for more wood paintings in the future me thinks! Both of these pieces have sold since the preview list has gone up. Here’s a wee iphone shot as the colours of my scanner are retarded


Secondly, one which I am most excited about is a group show curated by my good friend teamsweet at MyPlasticHeart in NYC titled “Rabid, Wild and Docile”!

I am SUPER excited for this show, as 1) This will be my first time exhibiting in New York (glee) and 2) I have so many art heroes in this show (gleeeee!)
I’m still busy slaving away for this but here’s a WIP photo:
Once again i’m trying something completely new; blue pencil doodles on wood. It’s a 16inch x 20inch panel which once done will be completely fully doodled (and i’ll end up completely insane, heh). More progress shots as they come :)
